World's first monofin featuring true improved blade stability design - the Taras monofin blade does not bend in transversal direction.
The lab made Taras monofin blade is produced from 100% IM7 and High Modolus carbon fiber by 3D-Tech Proprietary Technology of Cetma Composites which involves high pressure vacuum heat impregnation using micro-toughened tetra-functional epoxy resin which produces a flawless blade with 0% void level - eliminating any defects and allowing a uniform matrix/reinforcement ratio across the entire blade.
Featuring a unique stiffness distribution design which offers unparalleled energy efficiency and handeling. Highly accurate FEM blade design in both tranversal and longitudinal directions virtually eliminates lateral pressure drops of the blade even during the strongest kicks, producing exceptional thrust with minimal muscular effort.
The Taras monofin is equipped with a pair of comfortablle - ergonomically designed foot pockets, moulded from high quality rubber and act as a natural extension of the feet. It is positively buoyant at the surface (~2N).
The Taras monofin is used by many world class athletes including Italian national team members Alessandro Zacheo, Michele Giurgola and others.
